SCOPE OF WORK

  1. Conduct one week of research to gather necessary data
  2. Do the research findings
  3. Ensure research objectives align with design goals
  4. Collaborate closely between research and design teams
  5. Present the final design based on research insights

OVERVIEW

Background

Sobat Mitra's are currently reliant on daily visits offline/online to determine how much each Mitra paid for their SKU because it is only available on Mitra's apps. Sobat must make every attempt to understand Mitra's transactions in their entirety. This causes dependencies in Mitra's platform to be inconvenient. We need tomaximize per-sobat efficiency because sobat is one of the most expensive monthly expenses. In March, our burn rate from sobat was though high. One way to boost sobat's efficiency is to give themresources that will assist them as they approach Mitra.

RESEARCH DECK AND CO-DESIGN

Research and Ideate

Analyzing data from the data above, a consistent pattern of user persona emerged:

User Persona

Figure 2. User Persona

User Persona Cont'd

Figure 3. User Persona Cont'd

We conducted a thorough in depth interview. This is the breakdown of research insight:

  1. Sobat need to know current Promo that related to their Mitra to make Mitra interest to shopping
  2. Sobat offer similar products to their Mitra to complete the product varian on the warung
  3. Sobat offers the product based on the area of warung mitra.
  4. Sobat offers products that the Mitra often to buy
  5. Sobat look to the product stock available on the warung, and offer the products that the stock are running low on stock

Through those research insight, we do crazy 8 to ideate some of research's insight:

Acceptance Criteria Product Design:

  1. Historical Data — Top Category (Wholesale, Credit, Data Packages, etc) sort by TPV, Top Wholesale Category (Cigarettes, Instant Drinks, etc) sort by TPV
  2. Most Frequently Bought — Top 10 Product Digital based on TPO, Top 10 SKU grosir based on TPO
  3. Promo Digital & Wholesale — Shown promo that can be seen by Mitra on their account

Proposed User Story:

  1. Historical Data — As a Sobat, I can see analytic data for each mitra that I own now, So I can give them a recommendation on what product that they can buy
  2. Most Frequently Bought — As Sobat, I can see wawasan for each mitra that I own now, So I can give them a recommendation
  3. Promo Digital & Wholesale — As a Sobat, I can see promo digital and wholesale that eligible for each mitra, So I can give offer to them

Proposed Information Architecture & User Flow

The proposed information architecture forms the backbone of our project, serving as the structural information that underpins the entire user experience. It is a meticulously designed roadmap that ensures the logical information and seamless accessibility of information for our users.

DESIGN

Hi-Fi Design

The user experience design for our high-fidelity (Hi-Fi) prototype is the pinnacle of our project's user experience goals. This stage converts the project's abstract ideas into a concrete, interactive representation of our design thoughts, giving a realistic sneak peek at the finished item.

VALIDATION

Testing

We do usability testing, to assess the User Experience when interacting with the product, including assessing the user's suffering and gaining points. For the iteration process, a greater understanding of the user is required (source for improvement)

User Tasks Scenario Task:

  1. User see historical purchased
  2. Scenario Task User want to see product which most to buy
  3. Scenario Task User want to see promo digital
  4. Scenario Task User want to see promo wholesale

Usability Score: 83 Responses: 32 List of User Tasks: 10

KEY TAKEAWAY

Impact and What I’ve Learn

Impact

Figure 11. Impact

In this project, I gain a thorough understanding of how to combine quantitative data from data analysts with qualitative data based on research so that it will make an accurate consideration to validate the real problems because whenever there is something that we can't explain with data, then qualitative validation is needed to address the 'why' of the problem.

Through this project, I acquire the skills necessary to effectively share information with stakeholders about the ongoing work. I'm taking these steps to ensure that, on the one hand, we represent the opinions of users and, on the other, that everything we do is always in line with stakeholder requirements.
